Mandee Carter Stearns
President
Mandee has spent many years growing her career in the financial industry, beginning as a bank teller in 2007. In 2011, she joined her father, Dee, as his assistant and quickly became an essential part of the business, stepping into a full-time leadership role in 2017.
In 2023, Mandee proudly became president and co-owner, continuing to help guide the company’s growth and client success. Her dedication and excellence have earned her national recognition, including being named an Elite Producer with American Equity in 2021, 2023, and 2025.
Outside of work, Mandee pours her heart into serving her church, spending time with family and friends, and advocating for animals — especially through rescuing dogs in the community. She also co-hosts a Monday radio show with Dee, one of her favorite weekly highlights, and loves traveling whenever she gets the chance.
Andrew Stearns
Andrew Stearns studied Business at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas before beginning his career in the energy sector. He previously worked as a Project Manager for ConocoPhillips, where he oversaw projects ranging from $120,000 to more than $1 million. That experience strengthened his ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and manage complex responsibilities — all skills that translate well into his work in financial services.
Andrew is currently studying to become an Investment Advisor Representative and is passionate about helping people feel more confident and informed about their financial futures. He has always had a natural interest in people and building meaningful relationships, which is a driving force behind his career path.
Andrew and his wife, Mandee, were married in 2023 and live in Midland, Texas.
Nicole Nunez
Office Manager
With more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Nicole has built her career on service, integrity, and a genuine passion for helping others. Her professional journey began in commercial marketing nationwide, followed by a decade with Farmers Insurance and two years running her own agency. For the past four years, she has been proud to serve clients at Carter-Stearns Financial, where she currently holds both a Life Agent License and General Lines License.
As a 1999 graduate of Lee High School in Midland, Nicole has also completed college coursework at Midland College. Having lived in the Midland–Odessa area for the past 40 years, she is deeply rooted in this community and committed to going the extra mile for the people who rely on Carter-Stearns Financial.
Beyond her career, Nicole is a devoted wife of 24 years and a proud mom of four active kids who keep her busy attending football, basketball, and baseball games, as well as track meets. Her personal faith guides every part of her life, and she strives to put God first in all that she does.
